The Bed and Breakfast "La Scala" is 1 km from Berchiddeddu, a small village in the Olbia district the major town of Gallura, one of the most beautiful areas of Sardinia famous for its extraordinaries natural beauties.

The B&B is in the center of a 5 acres property in beautiful panoramic position with a nice view on the valley on one side and the gulf of Olbia with part of the beautiful north-eastern coast on the other.

It's perfectly integrated in a countryside where the cork oak, the myrtle, the strawberry tree and the lentisk in particular are present:it's wonderful in springtime to discover the colors and perfumes of this beautiful Mediterranean bush and in summer to relax away from the crowded beaches, which are at short distance anyway.

In fact the "La Scala" bed and breakfast is very well connected.It's not on the sea, but the beautiful beaches in the San Teodoro area are easily accessible by car in 20 minutes thanks to convenient roads, 15 minutes away are the beaches around Olbia and it takes 30 minutes to reach the Costa Smeralda and the coast north of Olbia.

Being close to major roads in north Sardinia the central mountainous region with its solitary landscapes and artistic and archeological sites as well are easily accessible from our place. There is much more to discover in Sardinia besides its unique sea, an island unknown by the mass tourism but able to offer extraordinary things.

Last but not least: because public transport in Sardinia is often unreliable we suggest our guests to have its own car, otherwise places of great beauty and interest will be impossible to visit.
