Leonor and Marco

Leonor and Marco are the owners of the bed and breakfast.
Leonor is from Bogotà, Colombia and Marco is a Sardinian from olbia.

After many years living abroad, in England and Colombia in particular, and travelling extensively in South and North America (travelling, with reading, still remains our great passion) we heard the call of motherland and came back to Sardinia, a wonderful and unspoilt land.

Back on the island we have built our new house and have started this new adventure. A very demanding but also gratifying work because for us has been not just a choice of life but a cultural project as well: not only to live in the country but to retrieve elements of the material culture of our land as well, styles, materials and techniques from the local traditional architecture, filtered and enriched through our personal experience. We believe we have achieved the goal of creating a personal and original place where to receive our guests.

Leonor is the very heart in the bed and breakfast. After years working as a teacher she's now completely dedicated with courtesy and attention to help our guests to make the most of their stay.

Marco, a professional tourist guide in Sardinia, with its passion for working the land and to live in open air is the keeper of the property and of the fruit and vegetable gardens.

"La Scala" is a small bed and breakfast set in open countryside. The recently built house is set in the middle of a 5 acres property part cultivated (fruit and vegetable gardens, olive trees) and part used as wild garden to encourage the presence of autochthonous animals (the red partridge, the hare etc.).

Here you will find a quiet and relaxing atmosphere, a warm hospitality and the informal, direct touch typical of the bed and breakfast. Together with a high standard of professionalism.

At a short distance away from places of uncommon beauty and of great interest, but often chaotic and overcrowded in summer, the "La Scala" bed and breakfast is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday in contact with nature.
